Leachco Easy Teether - Crib Rail Cover - Ask any infant, and he will tell you there's just nothing better than a good crib rail for some "down home" teething. Our Easy Teether Crib Rail Cover not only protects a seasoned teether from splinters, cracks, and paint chips, but also keeps all his/her favorite teething and chew toys at an easy-to-reach level. Specially placed tabs make it fun and stimulating to have baby's most preferred teething items all along the rail. As baby grows and teething needs change, just snap in a new and different teether or toy. The Easy Teether stimulates baby by giving the crib a new different look.

3Better than nothing but not wonderful  Jul 04, 2008
We bought this because Boo was banging her teeth on the crib rail. It is lightly padded and easy to install with velcro closures between each crib rail.

That being said it would be nice if there were more padding and the velcro is too narrow to prevent the baby from removing it,

So not bad, wish it were better, glad we have it.

4Protects the babies' gum  Jun 19, 2008
My 8-month old twins are crib-standing and biting the rail. My babies enjoy the toys that we're able to hang on the velco tabs shown on the picture. This rail cover provides a soft surface for them to sooth their gum without hurting too much on a hard surface. I wish the guard was thicker, but I already read about that on other review prior to purchase so it wasn't a surprise. The velcro makes it easy to install and remove for washing.

4Serves purpose well  Jun 04, 2008
We have a Delta drop-gate crib. The top of the fixed side panel is
not level. Initially we used the 'Lionheart' teether, but our son
quickly realized that they can be removed - and would be the first thing
he would do when he was put in the crib.

These cloth rail-covers are designed for the long drop-side bars, but we
use them on the sides, with 1/3 turning in and wrapping on to the front
panel. So the 2 sides do not meet in the middle, but as the front
panel bar is very thick, our son has not been interested in gnawing at
it anyway. So this cover has served its purpose.

Oh yes, we did remove the loops that were stitched on for hanging
toys.

Before buying make sure the length is long enough for your rail. I have a sleigh bed crib and this does not fit the rail. It's not long enough to reach the velcro on both sides. It fits older style cribs but not sleigh types. Will add customer pic to product for example

4Saved my crib rails!  May 19, 2008
My 10 month old daughter had started chewing on the crib rails, much to my dismay. I have a crib with the traditional drop down side. It is a little short to cover the whole length of the rail, but with the spots to put some toys, that doesn't seem to be an issue. My daughter loves it, it is extremely easy to install, and adds a nice look to the crib. The only downfall is the price for one, there are 2 rails on the crib, so you have to buy two. Overall though, I believe this product is worth it.
