Great Baby Monitor Jun 22, 2008 The signal is always loud and clear with this monitor. We live in an apartment with wireless dsl and 2 wireless phones in NYC. We never have any interference. At a party, the vibration feature came in handy too. I also like that both receiver and monitor can be plugged in or not.
Poor signal strength May 01, 2008 This is a nice looking and feature product but it just fails to work. I can be two rooms over, less than 50-60 feet from the base and it just stays red and beeps. Its just amazing that with digital technology they still can't get these things to work ....
Good, but cuts out a lot Mar 11, 2008 I got this monitor a couple of months ago. It works o.k., but it cuts out a lot. It also loses contact with the base so you'll see the light flashing red and it beeps. That's a little annoying. The other problem is that the batteries on the base unit get used up quickly. I purchased some rechargeable ones so that I could at least recharge them. I used them for one day and now they need to be recharged again. They give you some rechargeable ones for the receiver which recharge on the cradle, but you have to get your own for the base. And those are the ones that get used up in an instant. Don't even bother putting any in. Just keep it with the cord. The vibrator mode is cool because you can put it on your belt and also listen to your mp3 player at the same time without worrying about not hearing your child.
Sleep Deprived Feb 16, 2008 Haven't slept much so I'll be brief. The Graco iMonitor has good range and is simple enough to use. I liked that it came w/ two receivers.
However, it loses reception far too much for no particular reason. Aside from not being able to hear your newborn for a few seconds at a time, the incessant beeping from the receiver keeps us from sleeping when the baby is. This monitor may be better than others, as it was highly rated, however, it doesnt perform it's most basic function - letting us hear our baby 100% of the time. Therefore this product is terrible.
Great Monitor Jan 20, 2008 I've only had this a few weeks so far but it seems to have crystal clear reception all the way from the baby's room to ours and that's from one end of the house to the other.
