Areas on the mat for baby to explore include a large crinkle peek-a-boo leaf with a shiny underside, sun ray ribbons, and a soft tiger tail. A large soft giraffe sits at the bottom of the rainbow arch and has 2 points on which to link toys for baby. Mom can also link the toys to any of 3 link points on the mat as well as to any of 5 link points overhead for a total of 11 places to link toys for baby. Mom can choose between 3 modes of play: 1. Baby mode allows baby's play time movements to set off 8 to 12 seconds of lights and music 2. Music mode plays music for 20 minutes while baby plays 3.  Don't buy until 3 months Aug 11, 2008
I bought this gym after reading more reviews then I can normally stand to read. My son was 21/2 months at the time. I was so excited when it came. I put it together with ease and placed my son in it and he screamed. He now is 41/2 months old and he loves it. His favorite is the monkey. He wants to see it everywhere. I attach it to his car seat and his eyes light up. I don't think that it should have a rating of 0+. It should start at 3+.

I was hoping this mat would be bigger than the other rainforest mat I recieved as a babyshower gift but this mat is not much bigger. My daughter loves it though. It keeps her occupied for a while and she loves al the different animals attached to it. But...I would love a little more room for her to roll around in other than that it's a good mat. It's a little pricey though for being so small!

I bought this for my grandson and he love's it! He talks to all the animals and love to grab them. This gym is very well made and worth every penny!

Great mat! My daughter started using this at about 1 month - now at 2.5 months she plays with it for an hour+. She loves the lights (NOTE: The butterflies don't fly by themselves, you have to turn them), and I agree with other reviewers that the ability to move the toys around to different locations keeps it interesting and new. She also likes the music, and I find the rainforest sounds calming and non-irritating (unlike many baby toys). The mat is a little thin, but she doesn't mind, even when it's set on a hardwood floor. After much research we went with this mat and are completely satisfied!

This is very good for tummy time. Keeps baby entertained. I would say that this is a very good buy for the money spent. Baby will be able to use for several months.
