5A must have!!!  Jun 28, 2008
My husband bought this for me and we have a 4 week old son. I would highly, highly recommend this item! It has been a life saver. I love to be able to look at it and know how long it has been since he last ate and know how long he has been sleeping, or how long since last diaper change. I used the misc. button to help me keep track of my medicine. I love that it has a light on it to help see during the night. If you are a new parent I would highly recommend getting one, it will save you many headaches and you don't have to remember when your going on no sleep. I have no complaints and it is small and doesn't take up any space and is very easy to figure out. I couldn't have gotten through the first few weeks without it!!

5Great gift for new moms!  Jun 25, 2008
I saw the itzbeen while online shopping and ordered it based on its great reviews. It exceeded my expectations!! It is a wonderful idea and I wish I had one with my first son (I'm on #2 now). It is a great gift for new moms and for experienced moms because when you are sleep deprived and short on time, it so nice not to have to do math computing on hours slept, diaper change, et. Also, the "bonus" timer is great for me to use to keep track of my older son's last trip to the potty for toliet training. Also, EXCELLENT customer service which is so rare these days! BUY IT!

5lifesaver  Jun 21, 2008
I cannot imagine my life without this timer! I have a new baby and a toddler, and with "placenta brain," it is very easy to lose track of time. This timer is always there to remind me how long it has REALLY been since my baby last ate, was changed, etc. This is good for two stand-out reasons:
1. My husband and I take turns with the kids and this way we don't have to write anything down or do any extra communicating about when baby was last fed/diapered. This particularly helps my husband guess what baby might be crying about and whether he needs to actually wake me up to feed (the only thing he doesn't do).
2. There are days when time gets away from me...it seems I blink and it's already 3 hours later. My sense of time is off, particularly when I'm not getting regular sleep. I can silence the timer if I want, but I can also leave the alarm on (and adjust it in 1/2 hour increments up to 24 hours), so it reminds me when it's likely baby will want to feed. Each of the four buttons has it's own timer/alarm you can set independent of the others (or you can turn each off).
A relative who just had a baby with Cystic Fibrosis swears by this timer, for all their crazy schedules. I cannot agree enough!

Also, customer service is INCREDIBLE. They are friendly and quick to respond to any concerns you have. Very helpful.

5Great tool for "tag-team" parenting!  Jun 18, 2008
Like most couples, my husband and I practice "tag-team" parrenting. You take the midnight feeding, I'll take the 2am, and so on. The idea being that one gets to sleep while the other cares for the baby. Well, this plan falls to pieces when you have to wake the person who took the last shift to ask, "Did you change her diaper?" "Was she hungry?" "Did you give her medicine?" Then we're both awake! Not any more. This little device is the perfect tool for shift hand off. And it's a safety item too! We feel much better knowing medicine is given on time and only once.

5Very simple but amazingly useful gadget  Jun 06, 2008
This device is a clock and a series of 4 timers. All of the timers are the same except for the icon on the corresponding button. A press of the button resets the timer, which then starts to count upward in hours and minutes.

So how could this possibly be useful? As new parents, bewildered and tired, we're trying to get baby onto a schedule of eat time, wake time, and sleep time. This gadget has helped by telling us how long "it's been" since the last event.

I change or check the diaper, I press the corresponding button. Then I'll know when I last checked it. My wife feeds her, she presses the button. Not only does she know how long she's been feeding but we know when to expect to feed again (and therefore how long we have to take a nap).

The last timer is a bonus timer. My wife's been using it to tell her when she last took Motrin for her post-partum aches and pains. We haven't found much use for the night light. The "left/right" reminder is also useful but we sometimes forget to flip it.

At less than $25 this gadget has been enormously useful in the first 10 days of our daughter's life.
